Tricia Geraghty, Vice President, Marketing and CommunicationTricia Geraghty is the vice president for marketing and communication at Marquette University. Reporting to the senior vice president, she is responsible for the university’s marketing and communication initiatives, including advertising and branding, media relations, internal communication (News Briefs and Marquette Matters) and Marquette Magazine.

Geraghty first joined Marquette in 1995 and has served the university as senior advancement officer for the College of Engineering and the College of Communication, director of governmental and community relations, and, from 2001 to 2005, as director of marketing/associate vice president for public affairs. From 1999 to 2001, she served as senior staff assistant to former Mayor of Milwaukee John Norquist with responsibilities for economic and neighborhood development.

Geraghty earned her masters in business administration from the University of Chicago and holds a bachelor of arts in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2002, she was named one of “35 Faces of the Future” by Milwaukee Magazine. She serves on the boards of several community organizations, including the downtown branch of the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Express Yourself Milwaukee, and the Regional Identity Team for Southeastern Wisconsin.
