Rhona Vogel Rhona Vogel, Bus Ad ’76, was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2002.

She is the owner and founder of Vogel Consulting, Brookfield, Wis., a private firm with more than $3.1 billion of managed and unmanaged assets, offering integrated family office, business, tax, estate and investment advisory services to wealthy individuals and businesses.

A certified public account and licensed investment advisor with more than 29 years of professional experience, she was awarded the Marquette University College of Business Administration Professional Achievement Award in 1993.

She began her career at the Internal Revenue Service. After working as a revenue agent, she joined Arthur Andersen and in 1987 became one of the first female partners in the country.

She created Vogel Consulting Group in 1993 in order to fill an emerging need to integrate tax planning with crafted solutions to highly complex business and wealth management issues. With relationships throughout the country, the average client affiliated with Vogel Consulting has a net worth in excess of $50 million and the firm has grown to 43 employees in order to meet the discriminating needs of its affluent client base. In 2002, Vogel Consulting was selected by Milwaukee Magazine as one of the best places to work in southeastern Wisconsin.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accounts. She is a contemporary public speaker on a variety of technical tax, financial, estate and investment subjects for executives, families and business owners. She serves as a board member for several charitable organizations, including her role as treasurer of the Wisconsin History Foundation, member of the board of directors for the United Performing Arts Fund in Milwaukee and board representative for several private family foundations.

She is a member of the Marquette University 1881 Society.
