Marquette University was one of five employers with 1,000 or more employees to be
recognized by The Milwaukee Business Journal with a Great Place to Work award.
Recently The Milwaukee Business Journal confirmed what Marquette University employees already know: This is a great place to work.
Marquette was the only educational institution honored in the annual “Great Places to Work” edition that recognized 21 Milwaukee-area companies. The other businesses in the "large company" category were Aurora Health Care, Children’s Hospital and Health System, Froedtert Hospital and Marshall and Ilsley Corp.
Marquette was singled out for its commitment to mission, tuition remission benefit and generous retirement plan which, the paper said, all contribute to employees’ passion and loyalty.
